Zimbabwe Institution Of Engineers Membership Guides And Forms

Membership of TheZIE UK Branch is open to all engineering disciplines and to any person engaged or interested in teaching, research, management, planning, design, installation, maintenance or manufacture. It is open to all paid up members of ZIE of whatever class/grade with a registered address in the United Kingdom or Europe.

An individual with ZIE membership wishing to become a Member of ZIE UK must apply for membership through the submittal of a completed ZIE UK Registration Form, a copy of the Institution membership certificate and the payment of the branch subscription fee.

Candidates for election/transfer to all grades of membership shall make their application for Institution membership on the appropriate form prescribed by Board and shall be proposed and supported by the appropriate number of corporate members. The form must be completed in full and signed by the applicant. Additionally the candidate shall complete the ZIE UK Registration Form for joining the Branch.

The completed forms of proposal for election/transfer along with; documentary proof of academic qualifications; photocopies of certificates etc., certified as being true copies by a senior member of the Institution/Branch or a Commissioner of Oaths, a comprehensive training and experience report and a recent project of your own choice which should be indicative and illustrative of your current engineering work, as required by the grade you are applying for, shall be submitted by the candidate to the Secretary of the Branch. The suitability of a candidate for election/transfer shall be determined by the ZIE UK's Professional Review Committee.
